A bag of potatoes I won't be

The story is narrated by a young girl who feels bored by the slow passage of time during summer vacation. She contemplates her inevitable fate: watching TV, eating, and sitting in front of a computer screen for hours. She worries she will surely forget her voice, and even worse, she might turn into a couch potato from inactivity and lack of mental stimulation! The girl rejects this fate and begins to devise a plan to combat boredom and laziness. The story then follows her as she puts her plan into action, aided by her family members and neighbors.

Message of the story:

We must use our time for all that is beneficial and useful, instead of confronting the television and computer. Let potatoes be for those who are always in front of the TV.
